The local Notion alternative built for CLI agents
What it does
I quit Notion to plug Claude Code into every part of my workflow — but as someone who used to sell Notion templates, I couldn't let go of kanban boards and timeline views. So I built Notion on top of local markdown files. Any folder ofmd files on your Mac becomes Notion-style pages, databases, kanban, and calendars. The right panel ships with a real terminal, so Claude Code or Codex runs right next to your notes. macOS only for now.

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it.
