What it does

One goal today. One tomorrow. Plan it, share it with others, and prove it with a live photo! Supplementary photos from either live camera or gallery can be added to show your progress. With maniquest, only today and tomorrow count. If I have a quest/task today, I can prove it with a photo. When midnight GMT+1 comes around, tomorrow's task becomes todays. Rinse and repeat. Photos are deleted at midnight, it doesn't matter if they're bad photos, they're there for the day to show others.

One goal today. One goal tomorrow. Plan it, share it with others, and prove it with a live photo!

One clear goal for today, one for tomorrow — not a to-do list, not a five-year plan. Your quest hits the feed the moment you save it — before you've even started. Say it first, then live up to it. Snap a live photo in the app — no gallery uploads. That's your proof. Once you've proved it, add up to 5 extra photos — live or from your gallery — to round out the story. Complete a quest, your streak goes up by one. Miss a day — or don't set one — and it resets to 0. Your lifetime total never resets. It only ever climbs, no matter what happens to your streak. Everything resets at midnight, Irish/UK time. Quests and photos are wiped for everyone — a clean slate, every singlefrom maniquest.com

  • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up.
