Mask

What it does

Mask makes it possible to mint a virtual card in just one tap and autofill it at checkout on any website. Just link your Link (by Stripe) account, create a virtual card, and use it anywhere. Only spend the amount you authorize and burn the card once you're done.

Mask issues a virtual card for every site you trust, and freezes it the moment you don’t.

Mint a fresh virtual card for every transaction and autofill with the Chrome extension so you never expose your real card information. Dispose of the card when done. Use the chrome extension to mint and autofill virtual cards with the correct limit in just one tap at every checkout page you visit. Privacy made Convenient. Give it a name, a spending limit, and lock it to a single merchant. Your real card details never leave your bank. Drop the Mask number anywhere: subscriptions, hotel deposits, that one sketchy site. Merchants never get your real credit card info. Freeze your card if you're done with the free trial, or burn it if it leaks. Sign in with Google, link your Stripe Link wallet,…from usemask.us

  Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481

Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

  Performative-UI – A react component library of design tropes▲1,181

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
