User analytics and telemetry for MCP servers
MCPcat launched on August 28, 2025 with 7 votes, #3,174 of 8,530 launches that month. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.
What it does
Free telemetry for MCP servers + AI agent session replay. See errors, debug issues, understand WHY agents call your tools. Export to Datadog/Sentry/Open Telelemetry collectors. One line setup via the TypeScript or Python SDK.
Analytics and observability for Claude Connectors and ChatGPT Apps. Trace every session, uncover agent intent, and identify issues as they come up.

MCPcat – A free open-source library for MCP server monitoring2025 · github.com · ▲14Hey everyone! We've been working with several MCP server maintainers and we noticed some difficulties getting drop-in logging and identity attribution working out of the box with existing vendors. A couple of challenges we hoped to solve were: - Baseline piping of tool calls to traditional vendors - How to tie tool calls to a “user session” - Understanding the context behind tool calls made by agents So we built something. :) The MCPcat library is completely free to use, MIT licensed, and provides a one-line solution for adding logging and observability to any vendor that supports…
MCP Server for OpenTelemetryNov 2025 · github.com · ▲13Hey HN, Gal, Nir and Doron here. Over the past 2 years, we've helped teams debug everything from prompt issues to production outages. We kept running into the same problem: Jumping between our IDEs and our observability dashboards. So, we built an open-source MCP server that connects any OpenTelemetry backend (Grafana, Jaeger, Datadog, Dynatrace, Traceloop) to our dev environment using an MCP. While there are many MCP servers built for specific providers (like Datadog’s - https://docs.datadoghq.com/bits_ai/mcp_server), they’re closed source (so we can’t easily extend…
Product analytics (and evals) for agent sessions on your MCPAug 2026 · armature.tech · ▲42Hi HN! We’re Theodore and Louis, founders of Armature (YC P26). We reconstruct the entire session behind the MCP tool calls you receive, including what the user asked their agent to do and what the agent thought. You wrap your MCP in 3 lines of code (our SDK is available in Typescript, Python and Go) and start seeing in your dashboard: - All sessions reconstructed: it’s like reading the real conversation the user had inside Claude or ChatGPT! - A ranking of your MCP most popular use cases, built from sessions clustering - The most frequent issues your users’ agents encounter so you can fix…

I built the world's most impractical 1000-pixel display and anyone in the world can draw on it. It draws a single pixel at a time and takes 30-60 minutes to complete a single image. Anyone can participate in the project by voting for the next image to be drawn, and submitting images. https://kilopx.com/

Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…

I was wondering how I can arrange objects along a spherical helix path, and read some articles on it. I ended up learning about parametric equations again, and make this visualization to document what I learned: https://visualrambling.space/moving-objects-in-3d/ feel free to visit and let me know what you think!

For HTML Day 2025 [1], I made a web service that displays the current sky at your approximate location as a CSS gradient. Colours are simulated on-demand using atmospheric absorption and scattering coefficients. Updates every minute, without the use of client-side JavaScript.
