Mirror Mash Blast

Match two mirrored worlds and unleash epic puzzle blasts

What it does

Mirror Mash Blast is a unique puzzle game where players match symbols across two mirrored boards simultaneously. Trigger powerful Mirror Blasts, create chain reactions, and solve increasingly challenging levels as both worlds react to every move. Designed and developed by a solo indie developer, the game reimagines classic match-3 mechanics with a fresh dual-board puzzle experience.

    I wrote a symmetry game with a daily puzzle2024 · hidden-mirrors.com · ▲126

I’ve been working on a puzzle game for a few years as a side project. The game is based on a small region of tiles in a grid that is mirrored, modified, and mirrored again. It’s based on a novel phenomenon I noticed where, once these mutations happen a few times, the original region can be hard to recognize. You have a feeling there are symmetries in the image, but they are just out of grasp. Going further, if only part of the region is visible, such as mirroring off the edge of the board, it adds to the feeling and it becomes a satisfying puzzle to solve. I originally published this on the…

    I made a daily puzzle game about mixing colors2024 · refractor-game.com · ▲19

While on paternal leave, I wanted to create a game my newborn daughter could eventually play and learn something from. I was heavily inspired by the daily puzzle games I consistently play such as Wordle and Strands. Refractor is a game about connecting colored tiles together to reach all the goals. Use "refractor" tiles to combine two colors together but be careful not to trap yourself in! The game is won when all goals are fulfilled. The tech stack is: Laravel + Inertia, React + TypeScript, and DaisyUI + TailwindCSS. Open to any questions or feedback. Hope you might find it interesting!

    Antimatter – Match the opposites (Mahjong solitaire mechanic)Mar 2026 · linguabase.org · ▲12

I love word association games. Here's a playable wordplay game where you match opposite word tiles. After playtesting a lot of mechanics, I think opposites play really nicely with Mahjong solitaire. The current generation of frontier LLMs can't make puzzles that get much more interesting than hot-vs-big-vs-fast. New inferences keep circling a small pool of concepts unless the prompting has a way to get the LLM into new territories of language. Puzzlemaking needs graph traversals. I made 20 levels algorithmically because I work with a huge semantic graph with over 100M edges, built from…

    I built a dual crossword puzzle where two crosswords share one gridApr 2026 · forkle.co.uk · ▲20

Forkle (forkle.co.uk) is a daily word game where two thematically linked crosswords occupy the same grid simultaneously. Every tile contains two letters - one belonging to each puzzle - displayed as a diagonal colour split. Where the two puzzles intersect, some tiles share the same letter, giving you a foothold into both crosswords at once. The mechanic has two layers: the shared grid, and the connected themes. Each day's two crosswords are thematically paired around a central idea. For example, a previous puzzle was "Same House, Different Kingdoms" - same home, same humans, entirely…

Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
