MiToolHub

Fast, clean, privacy-first web utilities.

What it does

Built by a student tired of paying for limits and uploading files to unknown servers. MiToolHub is 100% client-side: your files never leave your browser. Because there's no server cost, everything is free and unlimited. I create tools that save time and help you grow—like our Dummy Data Generator with a "Dirty Data" mode to practice Excel/SQL cleaning. Using AI agents taught me that planning is everything. New tools every week. Fast, clean, distraction-free.

Free browser tools to resize images, merge PDFs, convert JSON, and more. 100% private, no signup, no uploads, everything runs locally in your browser.

Fast, clean, distraction-free browser utilities. Resize photos, combine documents, and convert files instantly – all processed locally on your device. No uploads, no signup, no tracking. Power Query editor: data quality, applied steps & undo, 1-click auto-clean, number & date converters. Yes. Every tool on MiToolHub is completely free, and you never need to create an account, sign up, or enter payment or card details. There are no trials, no premium tiers, no paywalls and no usage caps — the same full functionality is available to everyone, every day, on every device. Your files stay on your computer: all the heavy work, from resizing photos to merging PDFs, happens locally in your browser.…from mitoolhub.com

Hi HN! I've created [UFreeTools](https://www.ufreetools.com/), a collection of developer utilities (60+ tools and growing) that's completely free, ad-free, and runs entirely in the browser. No data leaves your device - everything is processed locally. ## Background As a developer, I found myself constantly searching for simple utilities like JSON formatters, UUID generators, and color pickers. Most existing options were cluttered with ads, required sign-ups, or sent data to servers. I wanted clean, fast tools that respected privacy. So I built UFreeTools as a modern SPA using…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

  • Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…

  • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up. One…
