Mock Studio

Hi HN, I built this after using Requestly, Mokku, Mockiato, Tweak, and Mockoon. Each one either paywalled the features I actually needed, required a separate server running on my machine, or just didn't fit the way I work. The browser is already open. DevTools is already open. I wanted the mocking to live there too, not in a separate app I have to remember to start. So roughly a month ago, I started building my own tools. It intercepts network requests at the browser level and lets you swap the response, status code, headers, body without touching your code or spinning up anything.…

What it does

A simple yet powerful HTTP API mocking tool that lets you simulate real-world APIs, scenarios, and edge cases with ease. Mock Studio is a strong API mocking and simulation tool built right into Chrome DevTools. You can create realistic mock APIs, test complex user flows, generate dynamic responses, and simulate real backend behavior, all within your browser. This tool is great for frontend developers, QA engineers, designers, and product teams.

The modern API Mock & Testing tool for professional developers. Intercept, mock, and inspect network requests directly in your browser.

Intercept, mock, and inspect network requests directly in your browser. Build robust UIs without waiting for the backend. Zero configuration locally. No proxy servers, no terminal commands, no mess. Get Mock Studio from the Chrome Web Store. It integrates directly into your DevTools panel. Right-click any request in the Network tab to mock it instantly, or create new mocks from scratch. Build your UI with reliable, instant data. No waiting for backends, no flaky staging environments. No more hardcoding mock data. Manage states, delays, and errors without leaving your browser context. Describe your API response in plain English. Use our Managed API Service (Paid) for zero-setup, or Bring…from mockstudio.app

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
