What it does
MoldInspectionMap is a directory of mold assessors who hold an actual STATE LICENSE, from official state license registries - for the handful of states that license (not just "certify") mold assessors. State pages break active licenses down by city; Florida alone lists 3,333 across 251 cities. State-licensed and verifiable in a public registry, vs anyone who calls themselves "certified." A directory, not a booking or inspection service - only states that license, not nationwide.

Search results for mold inspection are full of companies calling themselves "certified." A handful of states go further and actually license mold assessors — issuing a verifiable credential and publishing the registry. MoldInspectionMap lists only those state-licensed assessors, straight from the state's own records. We publish a state only when there is a real public license registry we can rebuild from. Florida is city-level; Texas is county-level because that is what TDLR publishes. Every listing traces to a state license record — a name, a license number, a status, and an expiration date you can verify yourself.
