Moments
Track your thoughts & memories with this journalling app
Moments launched on March 26, 2022 with 5 votes, #1,399 of 3,153 launches that month. The site was still online in September 2026, 4 years on.
What it does
The mission of Moments is to provide a place for people to dump their thoughts, memories, or anything else they feel like tracking, without the clutter and annoyances of other journaling apps.
A journal that helps you name what you are feeling. Find the word, write it down, and look back on it later. For iPhone.
You know when you say, “I’m angry,” and “angry” doesn’t quite describe it? You might know roughly how you feel, but not quite what to call it. Write what you’re feeling, what happened, or whatever is on your mind. Add photos, write a little or a lot. There’s no right way to journal. Every feeling, photo and entry can be heard as well as seen. Moments works with VoiceOver from the first tap to the lastfrom momentsjournal.app

Hi HN! I made many small web games in the past with Unity or Phaser. But this time I wanted to make something completely on my own. So I coded a basic game framework in plain JavaScript, and used it to make Almost Pong. This was a really fun project that taught me a lot about JavaScript, and I plan to make more minimalist games with this framework. Interesting fact: Almost Pong doesn't load any assets, all sprites and sounds are generated with code. Happy to answer questions, and please let me know if you have any feedback on the game. Thanks!
