munchlog.ai

I had always found meal tracking too boring. Healthify had huge forms that are boring to fill after each meal. Then it let you take pictures but then I always forget it to take them before eating. Meal tracking was such a pain, so I built an app where you can simply say what you ate and it will break it down into macros immediately. Now I'm that annoying guy who talks to his phone every time he ate.

munchlog.ai launched on August 24, 2025 with 13 votes, #983 of 8,530 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.

What it does

Casually track food with voice No forms, photos or homework. Just say what you ate and see your macros

A gentle food accountability partner that remembers what you ate. Check in by voice or text and see a calm summary of your day.

Speak messy meal memories. Munchlog organizes them into gentle reflections, useful patterns, and better next choices. Built for people who forget what they ate, hate calorie apps, and still want clarity. Speak or type the rough version, even if portions and timing are fuzzy. Your messy note becomes a structured food memory with useful context. See the nutrition snapshot, mirror notes, and anything worth noticing. Come back tomorrow with less guesswork and a kinder next choice. Munchlog keeps the important parts of tracking and drops the parts that make people quit. Speak or type the messy, real version of what you ate. Munchlog turns it into a clear reflection. It helps you notice patterns…from munchlog.ai

Hi guys, I created this app to solve one of my own problems: I found calorie tracking to be a real pain. Now, instead of scanning barcodes, scrolling through lists, or taking photos of food, I just speak into my phone (or computer), tell Calorio what I’ve eaten, and it handles the rest. It uses OpenAI’s APIs to process audio and map foods to calories. It’s free to use without an account, but if you want it to tally daily calories and remember everything you’ve eaten, you’ll need to sign up with your Google account and subscribe (you get 7 days for free). I would really appreciate any…

  • I built the world's most impractical 1000-pixel display and anyone in the world can draw on it. It draws a single pixel at a time and takes 30-60 minutes to complete a single image. Anyone can participate in the project by voting for the next image to be drawn, and submitting images. https://kilopx.com/

  • Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…

  • I was wondering how I can arrange objects along a spherical helix path, and read some articles on it. I ended up learning about parametric equations again, and make this visualization to document what I learned: https://visualrambling.space/moving-objects-in-3d/ feel free to visit and let me know what you think!
