What it does

Music Time Machine is a Chrome extension that turns your browser into a portal through music history. It instantly detects what's playing on YouTube, Spotify and more — then shows you exactly when that song was released and what else was topping the charts at the time. Enter your birth date to discover which songs were number one the exact day you were born. Explore hits from any era since 1950, dive into full artist timelines, and build playlists from any decade. Every song, its story.
