What it does

With Mutify, you can mute and unmute your Microphone directly from menubar. You can also enable push-to-talk mode. Mutify works with Zoom, Hangout, Slack, Skype, GoToMeeting, Webex, Telegram, Viber, FB Messanger etc.

Flaky, inconsistent behaviour - sometimes it's in the menu bar, sometimes it's not; sometimes it displays an overlay to let me know the mic is on/off, sometimes it doesn't. Developer's support site doesn't work. Thanks for the comment. It's not possible for menu icon to disappear randomly. Please check if there is some menubar icon hider app running on your system like bartender.
