My first SaaS venture. Feedback welcome

My friend and I left our jobs a month ago to get our side project, Cloud Cannon, ready for launch. Cloud Cannon makes it easy to get a simple website with a CMS online and launched. It does this by: 1. Syncing with Dropbox. You drag your files into Dropbox, Cloud Cannon then syncs them to our server and makes them live on the internet under the domain you've provided. 2. Integrated CMS. Have your clients update their own website using our simple CMS. Add a class of "editable" to any div you want your clients to edit. All changes your client's make will be pushed live and saved back to your…

What it does

In the maker’s words, at launch

My friend and I left our jobs a month ago to get our side project, Cloud Cannon, ready for launch. Cloud Cannon makes it easy to get a simple website with a CMS online and launched. It does this by: 1. Syncing with Dropbox. You drag your files into Dropbox, Cloud Cannon then syncs them to our server and makes them live on the internet under the domain you've provided. 2. Integrated CMS. Have your clients update their own website using our simple CMS. Add a class of "editable" to any div you want your clients to edit. All changes your client's make will be pushed live and saved back to your Dropbox. 3. Website Optimization. Cloud Cannon periodically optimizes websites. It minifies Javascript and CSS and pushes all website assets to a fast CDN. This is our first business venture so any feedback is more than welcome. I hope you find Cloud Cannon useful. http://cloudcannon.com

My new SaaS side-project, after years of open source2018 · ▲229

Hi guys, I've created an open source web builder framework (https://grapesjs.com) years ago, which I'm still maintaining, and now I'm excited to publish a side project based on it, Grapedrop (https://grapedrop.com). It's a simple web page builder which allows you to design and publish your web pages very quickly. The project is still in beta with a lot of stuff to improve but I'd really like to share it and hear what people think about it and maybe also get some constructive feedback.

    Turn Dropbox in a CMS2013 · ▲8

The majority of CMS's are overkill for a simple 10 page website. Deploying with Cloud Cannon takes a few steps. * Drag static website files into Dropbox to deploy * Add class of "editable" to any div in the HTML to setup CMS * Simple content editor for your clients with no branding and requires no registration * All websites are automatically compressed periodically (CSS & Javascript minified, all assets served from CDN). Static websites are becoming super powerful with 3rd party applications such as Firebase, Disqus and Wufoo. We want to be a big part of this static website ecosystem. All…
