Build a profile that describe things you approve/disapprove
My Motion launched on October 7, 2018 with 79 votes, #578 of 2,827 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches.
What it does
I hacked together My Motion in a few days with the intension to let users list of things they like/dislike or approve/disapprove in their own perspective. Remember, there is no such thing as the "right" answer. My Motion could serve as an ice-breaker in conversations with your new friends or in getting to understand the other's tastes better.

- WDWhat do you think of my new social app?2022 · oncircles.com · ▲76
Hey there, First time posting on Hacker News in about 2 years! The reason I’m posting is that I thought I’d write about the product I’ve been building, in hopes it resonates with people. Why build yet another social app? Because I deleted almost all social media around 3/4 years ago as it was just net negative on my life. There was very little that was truly interesting, I didn’t care about looking good to other people and because of the ‘media’ and ads, the apps were all designed to make me spend too much time for what I was getting. Description text. Maybe some mockups... I've tried to make it so that it's quick and easy to just dump an idea in there that's been sitting on some list of yours for months - and hopefully get some feedback on it. If someone else on…

http://profilepin.com I made this site during my free time over the past few weeks. I don’t consider myself a designer or a programmer, but I wanted to make something simple like this for fun, and now I figure I might as well have some fun promoting it too. The idea is basically a rehash of Google Profiles, except with a slightly different pitch. So let me know what you think. A couple of specific questions I have: Does this actually work as a minimum viable product? Is that feedback tab on the side an effective way to collect feedback from regular users?
