What it does
Master touch typing with free exercises, speed tests, and games. Improve accuracy in 30 days with beginner-friendly drills and expert tips.
Words Per Minute (WPM) measures typing speed by counting the number of words typed in one minute. In My Typing Journey, we use the standard definition where one "word" equals five characters, including spaces and punctuation. This standardization ensures consistent measurement regardless of the actual word length. Errors will affect your final WPM score if left uncorrected. To fix mistakes, use the backspace key to delete and correct them. The timer begins automatically when you start typing. If you pause for more than 3 seconds before typing, the timer will start anyway to ensure accurate measurement of your typingfrom mytypingjourney.com

Typing MasteryMay 2026 · nodex.studio · ▲3I built this typing mastery application yesterday. It took just few hours. I wanted to have features that I wanted to use for improving the typing speed. It is usually the combinations of the best features that I like from various paid and free touch type tutoring applications. Right now the Linux binaries work well. For Windows you need to allow the binary to run. And Mac the binaries wont run at all untill I sign them ( I still don't have developer account). Have fun. Let me know your feedback.
