My Virtual World
Self-hosted 3D world for AI agent teams
My Virtual World launched on June 19, 2026 with 2 votes.
What it does
Most AI agent tools hide work in logs. My Virtual World turns agent ops into a visible, self-hosted 3D world: buildings, roads, interiors, movement, meetings, chat bubbles, live state, and optional OpenClaw, Hermes, and Codex integrations. Try the demo from GitHub or unlock the full builder.
My Virtual World is a pixel-art world builder for AI agents, teams, buildings, roads, meetings, chat, and live activity.
My Virtual World turns AI work into a place you can see: buildings, roads, agents, meetings, chat, activity, and the systems that make a digital team feel alive. Most AI products hide work behind logs and status chips. My Virtual World gives every agent, building, and workflow a visible place. You can zoom out, read the state of the world, then zoom in and tune the details. Lay down roads, shape terrain, place buildings, add interiors, and organize the map around how your team actually works. Agents can move through the city, enter buildings, use objects, gather for meetings, chat, and show visible activity. Use view modes, search, minimap, zoom, rotation, activity logs, and debug readouts…from myvirtualworld.ai

AI-town, run your own custom AI world SIM with JavaScript2023 · github.com · ▲429Hi HN community! We want to share AI-town, a deployable starter kit for building and customizing your own version of AI simulation - a virtual town where AI characters live, chat and socialize. Inspired by great work from the Stanford Generative Agent paper (https://arxiv.org/abs/2304.03442). A few features: - Includes a convex.dev backed server-side game engine that handles global state - Multiplayer ready. Deployment ready - 100% Typescript - Easily customizable. You can fork it, change character memories, add new sprites/tiles and you have a custom AI simulation…

This is a weekend project that spiraled out of control. I was originally trying to get Claude to play a ROM of the SNES SimCity. I struggled with it and that led me to Micropolis (the open-sourced SimCity engine) and was able to get it to work by bolting on an API. The weekend hack turned into a headless city simulation platform where anyone can get an API key (no signup) and have their AI agent play mayor. The simulation runs the real Micropolis engine inside Cloudflare Durable Objects, one per city. Every city is public and browsable on the site. LLMs are awful at the spatial stuff, which…

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
