From the sources

Mycelium is a set of typed formats for storing and transferring data, like Protocol Buffers or JSON. As you might expect it supports things like: Every value that you can specify in Mycelium has a Type (which is also a Value), and every Value can be stored or transferred. Values can be computed by evaluating Expressions. Expressions are also Values and can also be stored or transferred. The Mycelium Virtual Machine (MVM) is an abstract machine model that defines what it means for a Mycelium Expression to be evaluated. It is not necessary to have an MVM implementation in order to send and receive Mycelium Values. A reference implementation of the MVM, written in Go, is available in the mvm1…from github.com

Hey HN, we're happy to release Mycelium, a JavaScript library for creating graph visualizations of machine learning models or any other directed acyclic graphs. Mycelium powers the graph viewer of the Talaria [0] a research model visualization and optimization system, which was used to optimize the efficiency of Apple Foundation Models [1]. Everything works entirely on the client-side in the browser — we provide a rudimentary ONNX loader out of the box, which you can try by dragging model files into our website. It is also simple to define loaders for your own model formats. The library was…

    Mycelial – Point to Point Cloudless ETL (100% in Rust)2024 · ▲20

Hey HN! We’re Michael and Joseph from Mycelial (https://www.mycelial.com/). Mycelial is a point-to-point ETL solution, which means you can connect any db, file directory, or Excel workbook to a Mycelial daemon and move that data anywhere you’d like without having to transit through the Cloud. Historically, ETL processes have been bottlenecked by the need to route data through central Cloud services (Segment, Fivetran, Airbyte), introducing latency, security concerns, and unnecessary compute costs. Mycelial is our answer to these challenges, a SaaS control plane (you can run…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • Tapflow 2.0▲1,125

We built Tapflow for devs, designers, PMs, and tech folks who’ve been sitting on internal docs, templates, and systems — but never productized them. Upload a PDF, notes, or workshop deck, and Tapflow drafts a structured product (with chapters, teaser and pricing plans). It’s good for AI kits, onboarding guides, design systems, and frameworks. You can sell through Stripe, LemonSqueezy, or PayPal. Real-time collaboration is in early beta. No site builder, no LMS — clean design and just focused tools to ship.
