NativeVision, helping React Native devs to build XR apps for any device
Hello everyone, We've discovered an open source library named Viro that hadn't been updated in over two years. We've revitalized the library, enabling the creation of XR apps on the latest iOS and Android platforms. Our goal is to transform NativeVision into a versatile library that can be used across various XR devices, including Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest. Our aim is to make it easy for React developers to start working on XR projects using React Native or Expo, much like how they would for iOS or Android apps. If you have any feedback please share as it helps a lot!

In plain words
NativeVision is a revitalized open source library that enables React Native developers to build XR applications for multiple devices, including Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest. Built on the updated Viro library, it allows developers to create cross-platform XR apps using React Native or Expo with the same workflow they use for iOS and Android development. The tool aims to simplify XR development for React developers entering the spatial computing space.

Talanoa▲340Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
