Neat

Lightweight semantic grid framework for Sass

Neat launched on July 8, 2015 with 1 votes. The site was still online in September 2026, 11 years on.

What it does

Neat is a library of pure Sass mixins and functions that are designed to make creating dynamic and engaging layouts absolutely effortless.

If you are using Ruby on Rails, Middleman, or Jekyll, install Neat using RubyGems. Just add the following to your Gemfile . Alternatively, you can install Neat with Bower, Ruby, or NPM. You can also use the Neat CLI tool to install Neat in the current directory. Next up just import Neat in to your scss files by placing the `@import` in to the top your sass file. You're all set from there! If you need more info you can check out the detailed Installation instructions in the README or check the documentation on how to get started. Neat also works great with Bourbon and Bitters, They are all lightweight and easy to work with so it’s a blast to try them out and see if they’re right for your…from neat.bourbon.io
