Neucards is an end-to-end encrypted contact information sharing and updating iOS app that protects your identity while letting you keep in touch with people. I started working on neucards as a side project more than ten years ago, and I decided three years ago to go full-time and try to build a community around it. There are two major problems that neucards addresses. First, most people end up with contact lists that are hopelessly out of date. In plain words
Neucards is an iOS app that lets users share and update their contact information with end-to-end encryption. It addresses outdated contact lists by allowing people to automatically update their information—such as phone numbers, jobs, or social profiles—with their connections. The app also protects user privacy by keeping contact data encrypted, reducing exposure to data breaches, robocalls, and scams. Designed for anyone who wants to maintain current relationships while safeguarding their personal information, Neucards offers a privacy-focused alternative to traditional contact management.

The goal was to make the Contacts app I’ve used for years actually useful. I’d love to hear what you think. Especially whether you prefer extending native apps over adopting entirely new tools. Since this is one of the first releases, i would love to get any feedback you have! Alex
