To create a file on an external disk it’s a multi-step process.1. First Methoda. Right click on Desktop b. Select “New File” and file type requiredc. Use the pop-up file naming dialog box to select an external disk and folder. (Note: this pop-up dialog box is a Model box that comes to the front of all windows. It cannot be moved.
