NodeArchitect AI Agent
AI Agent for Houdini VFX software
What it does
I was looking for an AI tool to help with my Houdini projects, but what I found was priced out of reach for me. So I built NodeArchitect, an AI agent designed specifically for Houdini. It’s free for non-commercial use, so new artists can use it without barriers. NodeArchitect is a Houdini plugin that gives you an AI Agent that actually understands your scene. It doesn’t just respond with generic advice, it reads your node graph, interprets context, and works directly with what you’ve built.

I've been building computer-use tools for a while, and I quietly launched this about a month ago (122 Stars on GH). I figured it was worth sharing here. Over the last few months, a lot of computer-use agents have come out: Codex, Claude Code, CUA, and others. Most of them seem to work roughly like this: 1. Take a screenshot 2. Have the model predict pixel coordinates 3. Click x,y 4. Take another screenshot 5. Repeat That works, but it's slow, expensive in tokens, and fragile. If the UI shifts a few pixels, things break. And the model still doesn't know what any element actually is. But the…

Artifex - Graph Based GPU Harness for AI Agents23d ago · gatewai.studio · ▲7Artifex is a machine-first, headless CLI runtime built for autonomous coding agents to author, validate, and render media node graphs locally. The agent talks to Artifex through a structured CLI interface. Workflows are DAGs, and each node is a plugin that can implement its own execution logic.. Each node has capability to inject logic into graph processing, WebGPU rendering, audio processing and their own SKILL.md file. Nodes can also inject their react components (not available with CLI) - which will be available with the desktop app. Execution is topological and supports checkpoint…

NodeTool is an open-source, no-code tool that lets you build and test AI workflows through a visual interface. Why NodeTool? We started building NodeTool 1.5 years ago to make working with AI more straightforward and accessible. Technical challenges like Python dependencies often slow down the process, so we designed a tool that simplifies the workflow and helps you focus on creating and experimenting. Key Features: - Visual Workflow Editor: Create AI workflows using a drag-and-drop interface, supporting text, images, audio, and video. - Seamless Integration: Combine local models…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…
