What it does

IT documentation is walls of text describing systems nobody can picture. Nodl turns your whole IT landscape into a living map: every system, the integrations and databases they share, and the changes that shaped them. Click anything to see everything connected to it, or just ask Canvas AI and it takes you straight to the answer. AI builds your first map from a CSV or Jira export, and a "nodl" label in Jira sends finished work to the canvas. Nothing lands without your review.

Nodl is the map of your IT system. Every area, every integration, every change, on one canvas. Kept true by the people who own it. Solo $17/mo, Pro $250/mo. No per-seat fees.

Every area, every integration, every change, on one canvas. Kept true by the people who own it. Most IT documentation lives in wiki pages and Jira tickets. Pages describe the system. Tickets track the work. Neither one shows you what the system actually is. Nodl does. Confluence and Notion give you pages of text about the system. Jira and Linear give you lists of tickets. Nodl gives you a visual canvas that answers what the system is and what is happening to it, with relationships visible by default. Upload a CSV. Get a canvas. Export from Jira, ServiceNow, Excel, or anywhere else. Nodl proposes the map. You review every placement. Accept, edit, or discard. Every AI action is…from getnodl.app

as a solo builder i was struggling to create docs for all my saas projects. there aren’t many good options out there. open-source ones and mintlify all require code, and that takes too much time. i tried doing it in notion but it never looked like proper docs and didn’t feel professional. gitbook is the only one left and like mintlify, its pro plans are too expensive for a solo maker. so i built NoDocs.io . its nocode docs builder. you can create docs for your saas or project even with a free plan using the built-in nodocs subdomain. it only shows a small nodocs branding for reach more…

Hey HN, I built ProductMap AI, a tool that automatically identifies features implemented in source code and organizes them in a visual hierarchy. The goal is to help developers quickly understand poorly documented codebases. Link: https://product-map.ai/ I’d love feedback from the HN community! Let me know what you think. Would this be useful for you?

We got inspired by the work Mike Bostock has been doing with D3 and wanted to experiment with how we could extend the library in more of an application interface setting than just charting, so we built Nodal: http://nodal.me The project is built on Python/Flask/Heroku. Read more about the experiment here: http://mattstockton.com/2012/11/30/navigating-your-network-graph-with-nodal/

I might be the only SRE on Earth with his own bowling center. It's a more in-depth gig than you'd think. My family and I bought an abandoned 8-lane bowling center in the rural mid-west. In our small town there weren't many recreation options for families. You've heard of a food desert? This is an R&R desert. It had been abandoned for a good reason. The roof leaks, the electrical system was constantly surging, and my 70-year-old bowling equipment (still) doesn't work perfectly. The system that keeps your score is particularly interesting to me. It's the thing you watch during your game, but…

Over the past few months, our team has been building more and more slidedecks using web frontend technologies with coding harnesses like Claude Code, but a common complaint is to make even small edits we need to edit the code either manually or via the harness. To avoid this loop, I ended up creating Bento, a single HTML file with everything you need in a slide tool including animations and shared editing. There's no install or cloud login, everything works offline. The default deck is around 560 KB and it doesn't need to fetch anything once you got it. Open it in a browser and then you can…

  • A few days ago I found myself trying out GLM 5.2 and was really positively impressed. The capabilities and security I was getting from this LLM are similar to those I've gotten from models like Claude or GPT, and this really surprised me. But then I thought, "I wonder how it would work on a normal computer like mine," and above all, "I wonder if it would work without going into OOM on a computer like mine." So I started working with the help of agents to test this possibility. I started converting the model to int4, understanding MTP usage, and if possible implementing DSA for long context.…

Hello! For the last 2 months, I've been building OpenSEO. It's a user friendly UI wrapping the DataForSEO API which has high quality SEO data for keywords, backlinks, AI SEO and competitor research. Instead of paying $100+ per month, you buy DataForSEO credits and pay only for usage. The coolest thing about the project so far has been hearing about what people are building on top of it. People are using coding agents to quickly integrate with Google Search Console, Google Ads and building their own AI SEO and reporting features. Many were already building their own custom solutions around…
