What it does
Most translator extensions swap a word for its equivalent in your language — and you learn nothing. Not a Translator flips that: select a word, right-click "Get the meaning for it," and see its definition in the language you're reading, inline. That's how vocabulary actually sticks. Still want a quick translation? One click away. It also converts units and times on the fly. Built for language learners, expats, and anyone reading in a language they're still learning.

Not A Translator injects lightweight tooltips tooltips rotating (noun) floating definition boxes that stay close to the selection and can rotate around it to escape edges and overlap. ↗ 🛠 ✦ ⊘ near your selection, keep the original-language definition front and center, and hide a lot of technical work behind a very simple gesture. I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role.
