Now Mode
Choose one. Focus on now.
What it does
State switch timer for tHi Product Hunt I built Now Mode as a small experiment in decision-making. I often found myself switching tasks too easily, so I wanted a UI that makes you *commit* — by removing the other options once you choose. There’s no account, no tracking, and no productivity promises. Just a tiny interface to help you focus on “now”. I’d love to hear how you’d use it, or what feels unclear. Thanks for checking it out!hink / work / worry.

- IMI made a better interface for Google Tasks and I can't go back2011 · gtasker.com · ▲122
I recently decided to try out Google Tasks as my only task management system, and while I find some things about the interface great, it really isn't suited for someone like me who has multiple lists with lots of elements on each. So, I whipped this together real fast and I can't imagine using Google Tasks without it anymore. I realized you might want it too, so I put it on the web. Enjoy :)

- ISI struggle to focus working from home so I built a solution2023 · ▲31
Hey HN friends, I keep getting distracted working from home and always end up watching youtube, browsing blogs like HN or just mindlessly scrolling then I feel like crap because I didn’t do enough. I went through dozens of productivity tools but they’re quite overwhelming to use and none of them actually helped me focus. So I built http://complish.ai, a web-based sidebar that helps me focus on one task at a time. I launched it last month and have over 3,000 users now and I’ll be keeping it free. Would love for you all to try and give some feedback!

Care to share a screenshot and the 'killer feature' of any of your personal, self-built productivity tools? eg. I made my own calendar and money-tracker last year - there are no other users, it makes no money, I have no plans to make it public, but it holds my life together :) http://i.imgur.com/h2keJDg.png GREAT BECAUSE... it tells me how much I'm going to get paid this month. Absolutely no ulterior motive here (ie. I'm not canvassing opinions for a productivity app startup or anything), just interested.
