What it does
nPro offers a planning software for district energy systems. It helps urban planners and district design engineers to plan and size district heating and cooling networks, microgrids as well as hybrid energy systems.
Hourly annual simulation of heat demand, network and energy hub. For engineering offices, municipal utilities and energy suppliers. In the browser, no installation.
Design and simulate heat networks and energy hubs – including economics and scenario comparison. Online in your browser. From network planning through plant sizing to the project report – the key features of nPro in 90 seconds. Heating, cooling and electricity demand for every building across 8,760 hours, derived from building type, age and use. Routing, pipe sizing, pressure losses and heat losses are calculated across the entire year. Capacities of heat pumps, boilers, CHP units, PV and storage are optimized as one overall system. Every scenario returns capital and operating costs plus a CO₂ balance, ready to export as a BEW-compliant report. Calculate several variants in minutes instead…from npro.energy

The order management system, the storefront, customer support, etc. The marketplace would simply connect to the seller’s infra instead of locking them in. If, for some reason, the seller is removed from the marketplace, their software stays with them and they can continue accepting orders directly. This model can be used to disrupt any marketplace from AirBNB to UberEats: building tech for home renters and restaurants and later, leveraging that to build a competing…
