OctoAlly lets you launch, monitor, and manage AI coding sessions from a web UI. You can run multiple Claude Code agents in parallel using hive-mind orchestration via https://github.com/ruvnet/ruflo, watch them all in a live-updating grid, and every session persists through restarts.

Hey HN! We're shipping Octofriend today, a cute coding assistant that can swap between GPT-5, Claude, local or open-source LLMs, etc mid-conversation as needed. It handles reasoning tokens (including encrypted ones from OpenAI and Anthropic) really well, and includes a couple of custom-trained ML models to fix minor diff edit and JSON encoding errors that we've also open-sourced. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
