Offboard launched on July 7, 2023 with 75 votes, #1,250 of 4,347 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 3 years on.
What it does
The Offboard weekly newsletter is the core product to help job seekers stay informed with the latest job market trends, tools, and advice to gain a competitive edge in their job search. We have also just launched our Tool Directory and OffboardGPT.
Offboard is the career transition platform for people going through a layoff: a personal plan for benefits, deadlines, runway, funded training, and the search, with verified facts and AI tools that help you execute.
Offboard turns the weeks after a layoff into one calm plan: the benefits you can claim, the deadlines that matter, how long your money lasts, and what to do next, all with tools that help you execute every step. No credit card required. Benefit facts are verified by people, never generated by AI. A layoff comes with a system attached: unemployment benefits, health-coverage windows, severance review periods, and billions of dollars in federal training money. Offboard maps your situation and your state to what actually exists, then keeps the money, paperwork, preparation,…from offboard.co
