OneLimit

What it does

Cross-device parental controls for iPhone, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and Windows PC. One daily screen time budget your kids can't game around.

Kids hop between iPhone, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and Windows PC to dodge screen time limits. OneLimit gives them one shared daily budget across all devices. You set 2 hours on the phone. 2 hours on the PlayStation. 2 hours on the Switch. 2 hours on the Xbox. 2 hours on the PC. Your kid just got 10 hours of screen time. Sound familiar? No complicated setup. No router hardware. Just two apps and a pairing code. Sign in with Apple, add your children with fun animal avatars, and set their daily screen time budget. Link your child's iPhone with a 6-digit pairing code. Connect their PS5, Switch, Xbox, or Windows PC by signing in to your PlayStation, Nintendo, and Microsoft accounts -…from onelimit.app

  Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481

Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

  Performative-UI – A react component library of design tropes▲1,181

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
