Online OPML editor to manage subscription lists
I made a small online editor to manage OPML[1] files easily. There are a lot of smart online editors for formats like JSON, but while OPML is supported by most subscriptions services, the experience of editing/managing it is poor outside of what each platform support. The pain of managing the file independently increases as the size of the OPML file grow larger. It's rather simple at the moment but the goal is to provide shortcuts for common desired tasks to make the experience of editing OPML much smoother and streamlined. In plain words
This is a web-based editor designed to simplify managing OPML subscription files. While most subscription services support OPML, editing and organizing these files outside individual platforms is cumbersome, especially as collections grow larger. The editor runs locally in the browser as a static site, requiring no account or tracking. It aims to streamline common OPML management tasks with shortcuts and a smoother interface, addressing the gap left by better editors for other formats like JSON.

You can even install it as a PWA and use it like a native app. No Login Required – Just visit, code, and preview. Login only if you want to save/share. Savable & Shareable Links – Save scripts in the cloud and get shareable links. Customizable Editor – Themes, fonts, auto-format on save, layout tweaks, line…

Hi HN! While working on a project that involves frequently parsing a lot of feeds, I needed a fast JavaScript-based parser to extract specific fields from feed namespaces. Existing Node packages were either too slow or merged all feed formats, losing namespace information. So I decided to write it myself and created this NPM package with a simple API. Feedsmith supports all feed formats and many popular namespaces, including: Podcast, Media, iTunes, Dublin Core, and more. It can also parse and generate OPML files. I am currently adding support for more namespaces and feed generation for RSS,…
- OSOpen-source .docx editor library for building document appsMay 2026 · github.com · ▲107
We are working on an open-source .docx editor library for apps that need to edit Word documents in the browser. We just shipped 1.0. A lot of existing approaches convert .docx into HTML and lose document semantics along the way. Our editor parses OOXML directly and uses its own rendering+layout engine to produce paged documents with html/css. Edits round-trip back to .docx, so you’re always editing the document, not its representation. The core rendering engine is framework agnostic, with React and Vue ui adapters on top. It’s Apache 2.0. Happy to answer questions.
