Open-source app builder for comfy workflows
Hey, we’ve been working on an open-source project built on top of Comfy for the last few weeks. It is still very much a work in progress, but I think it is at a place where it could start to be useful. The idea is that you can turn a workflow into a web app with an easy-to-use UI. Currently, it should work with any workflows that take images and text as input and return images. We are aiming to add video support over the next few days. Feedback and contributions are more than welcome!
Open-source app builder for comfy workflows launched on September 28, 2024 with 59 votes, #580 of 5,281 launches that month and more than 90% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 2 years on.
In plain words
This open-source app builder, built on Comfy, converts workflows into web applications with a user-friendly interface. It currently supports workflows that accept images and text as input and produce images as output. The tool is designed for developers and workflow creators who want to quickly deploy their Comfy projects as accessible web apps. Video support is planned for upcoming releases. The project is in active development and welcomes community feedback and contributions.

Open-sourced Webflow for your own app2024 · github.com · ▲336Hi HN, I’m Kiet, one of the creators of Onlook studio. I made this app that allows you to visually edit your locally running React app and write the code back to it in real-time. The purpose is to allow you to develop UI while fully owning your code the whole time. There are other visual builders out there but they either require you to upload your code to the cloud or some lengthy setup process. Onlook runs locally, deterministically, and only requires adding a plugin for the compile step (2 lines of config change). Technical details: This is technically a web browser that can point to your…

Talanoa▲341Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
