What it does
Make new words by removing letters from old words. Pair Down is a new daily word game for crossword puzzle and word game enthusiasts. Play in Easy or Hard mode, and earn a perfect score by solving each level with the minimum number of taps.

HARD game: Some letters are fuzzed out. They come into focus if you click them. Use fewer clicks to earn more stars! Pair Down is a free daily word game from Jeff Chen and Jim Horne. Each row is a word with extra letters hidden inside it — pull the hidden letters out and a new word is left behind. The letters you removed, read top to bottom, spell a secret word or phrase. In Level One, remove exactly one letter from each row so the letters that remain still spell a real word. The letters you removed — Y , E , S — spell the secret word YES . It's inspired by the block puzzles in many newspapers but made to be shorter: just guess the nine letter word. So I made a quick thing to play with my family like we used to.
