What it does
PasteBox is a macOS menu bar app that remembers everything you copy, so you don't have to. You copy something, it saves it. You open PasteBox, find what you need, double-click to copy it again, then paste it wherever you want. That's it. No hoops, no permissions, no weirdness. It also works great with drag and drop. Just grab a clip from the panel and drop it right where you need it.

Losing items I copied hours ago and having to find and copy them again is a waste of time. I tried many third-party clipboard managers like Alfred, Raycast, Paste, Maccy, etc. While great, they didn't fully meet my needs. As a developer, my requirements are: 1. Keyboard-centric operation to avoid using the mouse. I don’t want to waste my time…

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
