Perfect Projects Finding Perfect People
Hello! I just wanted to drop in to let you know about a new platform I’m developing that I think could benefit you. I was finding that the mediums I was searching to find freelance work (Twitter, freelance job sites, etc) weren’t really providing me with projects that matched my interests or skill set AND it is a lot of work to find projects through these mediums. My vision is to create a freelance job market that will make it easy for freelancers and people looking for some freelance work to find the perfect partnership by adding a human element to the process (that isn’t you combing…

My vision is to create a freelance job market that will make it easy for freelancers and people looking for some freelance work to find the perfect partnership by adding a human element to the process (that isn’t you combing through the countless, imperfect results other sources have given you). I have been working on a proprietary algorithm and building a team of people passionate about easing the pain of finding the perfect match and am gathering (who I think are) the right people (both freelancers and companies who hire them) to make this marketplace great. It would be great if you could check us out at https://feather.li and feel free to jump on our mailing list so we can ensure that you’re up to date on when you can start using Feather. That’s it! All suggestions and feedback welcome :)

Hey guys, we just launched a platform to match top startups with high end projects. We're focused on supporting startups that would rather take on a short term consulting gig than raising a round of funding. We'd love some feedback. Thanks!

Inspired by a good friend who did Unstick.me, as well as the recent MVP for 1k project, I've decided to give consulting a shot by offering my services as a developer and product guy to non-technical folks and early-stage web startups who are looking to brainstorm on both the technology and product side, and possibly looking to have an MVP built based on their idea. I started accepting requests the other day solely with a Wufoo form, and just launched a proper one-page site here: http://youshouldworkwith.me/ Curious to hear feedback on the offer and idea in general. It's the first time I've…
- ANA new type of freelancer marketplace2012 · ▲7
Hey HN, we just launched MyRudius.com -- a completely new type of marketplace to find freelance gigs. I'd sincerely appreciate any feedback! Feel free to be blunt and honest... There's definitely work to be done. It currently uses fairly out-of-the-box Twitter Boostrap, for one thing. Thanks for any feedback available! http://www.myrudius.com

I'm a Computer Science student who loves creating things. Even though university is tough, I always make time for personal projects. Yesterday, I launched my first website that aims to help startup founders find their ideal team members and, at the same time, assist individuals in joining projects that align with their skills and interests. There are also a ranking of the most popular startups and some filters you can use to search what you are looking fot
- IMI made a fool that finds potential customers for you2024 · ▲5
Hey everyone! I wanted to share a tool I built to help you quickly find potential customers across social media for your product. It's a really simple concept: you simply paste in your landing page URL, and it shows you highly relevant posts across Reddit (Working to integrate few more) from people who likely need your product or service. For example, if you have a minimal to-do list app, it will show you posts like "Anyone know of a minimal to-do list app?" or "Really starting to dislike how complex Notion is." These posts are from the last 48 hours, updated in real-time, and uniquely…
- PMProject management and collaboration app for agencies2011 · ▲8
This is an app to easily manage a workload of multiple projects and to ease collaboration between teams. We built it on weekends whilst running our agency and it’s still very much in development. I’m posting it because I’m interested on what HNers think we should focus on next: * A ‘client view’ of each project? * Project level permissions to allow freelancers to access particular projects? * Estimates vs Actuals – see how they compare and use this data to predict future delivery times. You can sign up for a free lifetime account at the moment. Please comment if you have any feedback or…
