What it does

Most color tools generate palettes algorithmically. Pigmentoria reconstructs them from art history: real pigments, real materials, real constraints. 600+ palettes across painting, cinema, photography, and world traditions. 49 eras, 101 artists. A dedicated "Beyond Europe" section with Persian miniatures, Maya blue, Aboriginal ochre ( traditions rarely found in design tools). Free, no sign-up. Color as living history, not just hex values.
