Pilotbase

Universal database GUI for SQL, NoSQL, and vector DBs

Pilotbase launched on July 5, 2026 with 3 votes, #8,766 of 24,623 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches.

What it does

• One web UI for 19+ database types: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Qdrant, ChromaDB, Weaviate, and more • Self-host with dockerfile, fully open source (MIT license) — zero vendor lock-in • Built-in AI agent (LangGraph + ReAct) that queries databases in plain English • Works with local Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible LLM • Docker Compose setup in 3 minutes • AI Agent re-uses the connection that is already present in Pilotbase to do SELECT queries on databases when required by user.

Pilotbase is a web based Database admin for RDBMS, No-SQL, and VECTOR DB with AI and APIs for your Data. - icedsg/pilotbase

The first open-source universal database GUI — a single db browser and client that unifies relational, NoSQL, and vector databases in one interface. Stop juggling pgAdmin, MongoDB Compass, RedisInsight, and separate vector DB dashboards. Pilotbase connects to your entire data stack — PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, DuckDB, SQL Server, Oracle, Db2, CockroachDB, Snowflake, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, CouchDB, DynamoDB, Qdrant, ChromaDB, Weaviate, Pinecone, Milvus — and lets you query, browse, and manage everything from a single, modern web UI with an AI agent built in. First Beta Release — Core query, schema browsing, and connection management are stable and production-ready. AI-assisted…from github.com

Hey there! I’ve been working on DB Pilot for the last couple of months, and I recently added an AI assistant powered by GPT 3.5 to help you write SQL queries tailored to your DB schema. Simply ask what data you are looking for - GPT will figure out which tables to use, how to join them, and then write a query for you. The AI assistant knows which tables and columns exist in your database, meaning it can write queries specific to your schema. Besides that, it doesn't have access to any actual data from your database though, meaning your data doesn't get exposed to OpenAI.

We just launched Outerbase Studio, the open-source version of our core database offering. It works in your browser or as a desktop app and supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. What it does: • Connects to MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite databases. • Spin up local databases directly through the UI, even if you don’t have one running. • Manage and query your data in a lightweight, intuitive interface. • Completely open source. Why we built it: We wanted to share the core Outerbase experience with the developer community as a free, open-source tool. It’s simple, fast, and removes the barriers…

I might be the only SRE on Earth with his own bowling center. It's a more in-depth gig than you'd think. My family and I bought an abandoned 8-lane bowling center in the rural mid-west. In our small town there weren't many recreation options for families. You've heard of a food desert? This is an R&R desert. It had been abandoned for a good reason. The roof leaks, the electrical system was constantly surging, and my 70-year-old bowling equipment (still) doesn't work perfectly. The system that keeps your score is particularly interesting to me. It's the thing you watch during your game, but…

Over the past few months, our team has been building more and more slidedecks using web frontend technologies with coding harnesses like Claude Code, but a common complaint is to make even small edits we need to edit the code either manually or via the harness. To avoid this loop, I ended up creating Bento, a single HTML file with everything you need in a slide tool including animations and shared editing. There's no install or cloud login, everything works offline. The default deck is around 560 KB and it doesn't need to fetch anything once you got it. Open it in a browser and then you can…

  • A few days ago I found myself trying out GLM 5.2 and was really positively impressed. The capabilities and security I was getting from this LLM are similar to those I've gotten from models like Claude or GPT, and this really surprised me. But then I thought, "I wonder how it would work on a normal computer like mine," and above all, "I wonder if it would work without going into OOM on a computer like mine." So I started working with the help of agents to test this possibility. I started converting the model to int4, understanding MTP usage, and if possible implementing DSA for long context.…

Hello! For the last 2 months, I've been building OpenSEO. It's a user friendly UI wrapping the DataForSEO API which has high quality SEO data for keywords, backlinks, AI SEO and competitor research. Instead of paying $100+ per month, you buy DataForSEO credits and pay only for usage. The coolest thing about the project so far has been hearing about what people are building on top of it. People are using coding agents to quickly integrate with Google Search Console, Google Ads and building their own AI SEO and reporting features. Many were already building their own custom solutions around…
