PitchMe

Brand new Intonation and Non-diatonic modes!

What it does

We've just launched a bunch of new game modes for you power learners! • Intonation - if you're a singer, guitarist, cellist, or any instrumentalist that struggles to tell if you're in tune, the Intonation game mode lets you practice hitting the pitch right on • Non-diatonic chords and chromatic scales - now the Chords and Notes game modes allow you to practice notes that are outside of the key, allowing you to train hearing chords like 3maj, b7, 4m etc.

    Just intonation keyboard – play music without knowing music2023 · ad8e.pages.dev · ▲331

This is a keyboard in just intonation. It can play the notes a piano can. The big difference from a piano is that all the notes become consonant. At least, when you want to play a dissonant chord, you are clearly opting in to it because it's clear which notes are dissonant to each other. You won't bump into a dissonant note by mistake. You can play without knowing any music theory. Hit arbitrary notes with the rhythm you want, and the pitches will work. Not understanding the buttons is fine. Even rolling your elbow around your keyboard is fine. If you are a musician and press the wrong key…

    Perfect Pitch Puzzle – a musical Wordle daily ear training game2023 · perfectpitchpuzzle.com · ▲225

Hi all! Thanks for checking out the side project my family and I have been working on (on and off) for the past year. We were playing wordle when we thought: wouldn't it be fun if you had to guess musical notes (ABCDEFG) instead of words? And what if the notes you had to guess were actually the first six notes of a familiar melody? My brother and I both have perfect pitch, which has been really helpful when we want to cover a song that we like, or improvise in a jazz or blue grass setting. We don’t promise that this game will help you gain perfect pitch, but it is possible to train your ear…

    I created a game to memorize the fretboard2023 · fretboardfly.com · ▲258

Hey guys I've been playing the guitar for many years but I felt like I had hit a wall and wasnt making progress. One of the things I realized was holding me back was unfamiliarity with the fretboard. I'd often find myself in situations like “Uhh…Where’s the C# here?” “Where’s the flat-3rd of this root on the 4th string?” “Sure would be nice to know the closest min7 triad shape to play over here..” I tried memorizing the fretboard the obvious way but it extreeemly boring for me. Being a developer, I decided to turn it into a game. I'd love for you guys to try it out and let me know what you…

Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
