Turn all your notes into a conversational podcast. Podix uses AI hosts to discuss and break down your course materials into natural, engaging chats. The chillest way to study anywhere.🚀
Open a classroom for any subject. An AI 補習老師 teaches it in Cantonese, sets timed mock exams, tracks your grades, and writes your notes. Built for Hong Kong students.
Open a classroom for any subject. Your AI tutor teaches it in Cantonese, sets timed mock exams, tracks your grades, and writes your notes. One-on-one tutoring with the structure of a real 補習社. Not another study app. A structured course for every subject, a tutor that really teaches, real exam drilling, and progress that follows you to exam day. Cantonese lessons that break down question types, scoring techniques, key points, and the mistakes students always make. Timed mock exams. Every question you miss is saved to a wrong-question book, ready to re-drill until you own it. Upload your PDFs, lecture slides, notes or a Notion page. Podix builds the course from your material and examines you…from leveredgegroup.com

PodText.ai – Search anything said on a podcast, highlight text to play2023 · podtext.ai · ▲219Hi HN, wanted to share a project that I’ve been working on recently. PodText allows users to find anything said on a podcast. You can also listen and share clips to a specific part of the podcast audio, simply by highlighting the text of that part. Currently there are just over 25k podcast episodes and I’m adding a lot more in the coming weeks (yes my GPU bill is painful). In order to monetize it, I’m building a sponsorship database to help sponsors find podcasts and vice versa. This will be sold in the form of a $99/month “PodText Business” subscription. I bet I could charge a lot more…

The site hit #1 on HN about a year ago. Got enough traffic that I turned it into a proper API. What's there: - REST API — 35k products, manually filterable by category, free key, 60 req/min - CLI — npx anycrap random -c food - faker.js plugin — bundled, no API call, works offline - HuggingFace dataset — full 35k rows for ML/training https://anycrap.shop/developers

I made a built-from scratch Wayland Compositor to display any GUI app* in the terminal! I think there is a lot of unexplored potential in custom Wayland compositors, a lot of really cool things you can embed existing applications into! So, I started with embedding apps into the terminal because that is the easiest input/output (output is just utf-8 and I use the great `chafa` library for that, and I just read from stdin for the input). If you have any other ideas for cool Wayland compositors, let me know. I purposedly wrote 80% the app in Typescript to appeal to the most developers and…

Years ago I stumbled across a basic version of this concept and it stuck with me. I knew if I was ever going to take on such a project, it would need to be flawless, but without coding experience it was just another idea that would never happen. By the end of 2024, as AI coding tools exploded everywhere, I finally had a way to make it real. I started from zero knowledge and spent months collaborating with AI agents as a learning experience. Every pixel and every function went through me. The AI translated what I asked for into code, but every decision was human. I didn't use existing OS…
