PolliticalScience – Anonymous daily polls with 24-hour windows
I have been building a Blazor WASM enterprise app for a few years now. I wanted a break from it and had an idea for a side project that had been in the back of my mind for a few years. A daily political poll where anyone can participate and privacy is a product, not a checkbox. This is how it works. One question per day about current events. Agree or Disagree. Each poll runs for 24 hours (midnight to midnight ET) and then close permanently. You do not need an account to vote. The main idea is to capture sentiment at a specific point in time, before the news cycle moves on and people's…
PolliticalScience – Anonymous daily polls with 24-hour windows launched on February 2, 2026 with 31 votes, #660 of 16,627 launches that month and more than 95% of that year's launches.
In plain words
PolliticalScience is a daily polling platform that asks one yes-or-no question about current events each day on a 24-hour cycle. Voters do not need to create an account, and the service prioritizes privacy through a functional cookie approach rather than traditional tracking. The polls close permanently after 24 hours, designed to capture public sentiment at a specific moment before news cycles shift opinion. It is for anyone interested in participating in quick political sentiment surveys without registration or data collection concerns.

Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
