In plain words

ProcessMaker.IO is a cloud-based workflow engine designed for developers to build and orchestrate complex processes. It supports BPMN diagramming or programmatic workflow creation without visual tools, handling service orchestration, serverless programming with Lua script tasks, and human-enabled workflows with forms and approvals. The platform includes SDKs in major languages and targets developers and ISVs who want to embed workflow capabilities into their products without building the infrastructure from scratch.
