In plain words

This research project from Cornell University examines how productivity apps paradoxically reduce rather than enhance work efficiency. Conducted by academic researchers and published in 2021, it analyzes the impact of digital productivity tools on worker output and focus. The findings are relevant to organizations and individuals who rely on multiple apps for task management, scheduling, and collaboration. The research stands out by challenging the assumption that more tools automatically lead to better results, offering evidence-based insights into productivity software's actual effectiveness.
