In plain words

Qfc is a shell auto-complete tool for Bash 4.3+ and zsh that searches files across the current directory and subdirectories as you type. It helps terminal users quickly navigate to and open files without typing full paths, reducing friction when changing directories or opening files in editors. The tool integrates with frequently-used commands for a streamlined, keystroke-efficient workflow.

From the sources

qfc is a shell auto-complete alternative which features real-time multi-directories matching: It provides results while you type against files in the current directory and its sub-directories. This is useful, to avoid the burden of writing the whole path whenever you want to cd or vim a file, which is frequent especially if you use the terminal as your IDE(The terminal is the best IDE, remember! :-) ). If you're using zshell or Bash 4.3+, You can combine qfc with commands you frequently use to get one key-stroke experience. For example, I have the following lines in my .zshrc: This allows me to switch directories by just pressing Ctrl-b(or editing a file by pressing Ctrl-p).…from pindexis.github.io

I built qqqa as an open-source project, because I was tired of bouncing between shell, ChatGPT / the browser for rather simple commands. It comes with two binaries: qq and qa. qq means "quick question" - it is read-only, perfect for the commands I always forget. qa means "quick agent" - it is qq's sibling that can run things, but only after showing its plan and getting an approval by the user. It is built entirely around the Unix philosophy of focused tools, stateless by default - pretty much the opposite of what most coding agent are focusing on. Personally I've had the best experience…

  • Sol – A de-minifier for shell programs2024 · github.com · ▲147

I've built a tool called sol (like "soul") that helps you inspect and format complex shell one-liners. Features: - Choose which transformations you want (break on pipe, args, redirect, whatever) - "Peeks" into stringified commands (think xargs, parallel) and formats those, too - Auto-breaks at a given width (e.g., 80 characters) - Shows you non-standard aliases, functions, files, etc. that you might not have in your shell environment - Breaks up long jq lines with jqfmt because—let's be honest—they're getting out of hand As a security researcher and tool developer, I often encounter (or…
