RAM Prices
I was inspired by this discussion https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39066480 about diskprices.com last month, and decided to go ahead and make a site for RAM. It's my first time building anything like this! Any tips / suggestions / calls for complete overhaul are welcome :)
RAM Prices launched on February 19, 2024 with 241 votes, #182 of 3,962 launches that month and more than 95% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 2 years on.

I built a small weekend project to help track RAM prices, since DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 costs have suddenly jumped recently and I was struggling to find good deals for my NAS build. RamScout scans eBay (UK/US) and ranks RAM listings by price per GB, with filters for type, capacity, speed, condition, etc. It’s a simple MVP — no frills, no accounts, no ads — just a fast way to spot unusually cheap listings.
