Rec

What it does

Rec is the screen recorder for people who loved but are now tired of Loom. One click to record your screen and camera. One click to get a shareable link. No account, no watermark, no time limit, no bloat. Just fast, free screen recording that gets out of your way. Plus pay fair per view pricing.

Rec turns every screen recording into a transcript, a summary, and searchable knowledge. Claude, Cursor, and any AI connect over MCP and can record demos for you. $0.02 per viewed minute, no watermarks, no time limits.

Every recording becomes a transcript, a summary, and searchable knowledge. Your AI tools plug in over MCP and can even record demos for you. You pay for minutes watched, never for seats. Walkthrough of the new billing flow: creating an invoice, configuring tax settings, and previewing the customer view. From "let me show you" to a link your whole team can search, in under a minute. One click in Chrome. Tab, screen, camera, mic. Or skip the click and have an AI agent drive the browser for you. By the time you hit stop, the transcript, summary, and chapters are done. Recorded in silence? Add an AI voiceover, or dub it into five languages. One link that plays in any browser. Embed it, post it…from recapp.dev

  I spent 3 years reverse-engineering a 40 yo stock market sim from 1986▲721

Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
