Recall helps students stop forgetting what they revise. Add subjects and chapters, log study sessions and past papers, and get automatic spaced repetition reminders for what to review next. Built from my own struggle with chemistry revision, it keeps track of weak topics, flashcards, scores, and progress so students can study with less guesswork.

I've been working on Recall for a while now, it had some initial traction in the beginning which has since died down now. I am facing the inevitable question of whether to continue with the project. I just put out a new release and it would be helpful to get advice from the community on what they think of the idea and my implementation.

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it.
