Recon Node

Find what's broken on your website in about 10 seconds

What it does

Paste a URL and Recon Node runs around 40 checks on your site from the outside: TLS and certificate expiry, security headers, CSP, cookie flags, broken links, meta tags, soft 404s, exposed configuration files, SPF and DMARC, subdomain takeover, outdated JS libraries, scripts without integrity hashes, secrets in page source, CORS, CAA, DNSSEC. It also remembers your last scan. Run it again after fixing things and it shows what's new, what's still broken, and what went away.

Recon Node runs automated sweeps across your mobile app, your API and your game build, then hands you a plain report of everything that broke.

Recon Node runs your app, your API and your game build through the same messy conditions real people put them through — bad networks, old devices, wrong inputs, long sessions — and hands you a plain list of what failed and how to reproduce it. Web and API checks are live now — paste a URL and try it. Mobile follows, then games. One dashboard throughout — you will not be relearning the product each time. Upload an APK or point at a TestFlight build. Recon Node installs it on a device matrix and drives it like a first-time user who taps the wrong things. Give it a URL or an OpenAPI spec. It walks every route, submits every form badly, and checks that your contract still says what it said last…from reconnode.dev

  • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up.
