What it does
refern. is an all-in-one art reference and artwork sharing platform that let artists save, create, find, organize, moodboard, and share curated art references and artworks. Access all your reference images and tools in one place. Use it anywhere at anytime!
refern puts every reference you collect in one place you own: a private desktop app for creatives to save, organize, moodboard, and study. Index images and video, opt into PDFs with first-page previews and native viewing, and keep other working files beside them. Infinite canvas, hierarchical tags, nested smart-folder trees, and powerful search, all on your machine.
A visual reference manager for creatives. Organize your reference library and build moodboards on an infinite canvas, all in one desktop app. Tag, connect, and search the references you already have. Bring an existing library across without changing the source. Find more with less hand tagging. Auto Tagger can use your graphics chip to suggest tags and read text in images. You can also set up Search by meaning without adding general tags. It all runs on your device. Describe what you want, like 'dramatic lighting', even if nothing is tagged. Search your whole library or stay inside one folder. There is no fixed result limit. Marquee select across your tags, restyle or delete a whole block…from refern.app
