Relic
A private, synced vault of everything you copy
Relic launched on September 2, 2026 with 81 votes, #109 of 5,536 launches that month and more than 95% of that year's launches.
What it does
Relic remembers everything you copy, understands it on-device, and syncs it across your phones and computers, sealed so only you can read it. Save things you want to find more easily later, and bring them up with a hotkey without leaving your keyboard. Works with files, images, text snippets, and anything that might not have a home in your setup.
Relic is a clipboard manager. It keeps everything you copy, makes it searchable, and syncs it between your computers and phones, sealed so only you can read it.
Everything you copy is saved, and it shows up instantly on your other devices. Find anything again simply by describing it. Relic is a paperweight for your computer. Every copy is held down the moment you make it, and you can drop a file or type a note in too. Search by word, by meaning, or by day. Type last tuesday and it becomes a date filter. Copy on your laptop, paste on your phone. Your vault stays in step across all of them. Your vault is locked with a key only you hold. The server stores files it cannot read. Every line is public on GitHub. Use our sync service, or run the server yourself. Read this manual before installing or operating the furnace and keep it near the unit.…from relic.space

Clipto MCP▲640Hey HN, We recently built Clipto. It’s a tool that lets you search over terabytes of video, audio, and images on your computer, without relying on the cloud. Motivation: we probably all had this similar experience, we know a moment exists in a video or audio, but finding it takes hours scrubbing the timeline. You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

Hey we are Computable. We spent years building trading infrastructure at Jump Trading and Coinbase. From that point of view, compute looks like energy markets before 2000: everything trades through private bilateral leases, there’s no visible price, and nothing can be resold. The same H100 rents at a 2x spread depending on who’s asking, and once you sign a 24-month lease, it can never change hands. So we built a market for GPU nodes, sold by the calendar week. Here are three things you can do on it that you can’t do anywhere else: - Buy exactly the weeks you need. Three nodes for the last…
