I thought this was pretty well done. I had a little stumble with the app having an insistence to hold your attention on the screen that makes it look like you can go no place else until you sign up for a year which is not what I wanted.Once I got a handle on how to get out of that screen Things went smoothly. Download the Google Home app, Set up the Chromecast device and I was casting to it in no time. The only drag is that the mirror cast doesn’t handle landscape very well in fact at all. I think that might be the monitor but you’d think it would be better at that as all the monitors are 16 x 9 now. And users are casting at that aspect ratio just like movies played on the same monitor.…from apps.apple.com

Almost eight years ago I launched an online “Linux sysadmin course for newbies” here at HN.
