In plain words
Restaurants in Peace is a digital memorial for permanently closed restaurants where people can share remembrances and stories about dining establishments they miss. Designed for food lovers and nostalgic diners, it catalogs closed restaurants—initially focusing on New York—and provides a space to document their loss. The site's aesthetic draws inspiration from early 2000s funeral home websites, creating a respectful, reflective environment for celebrating beloved restaurants that no longer exist.
